Only a 10-minute drive, a few kilometres, from Wroclaw City Centre, the European Capital of Culture 2016, the golf course, incorporated into the stylish Toya Golf Estate, was built on former military practising grounds. The designer Jeremy Pern wanted the course to have a links feel in the open parts, and a parkland feel to the section in between the trees and lakes. Some parts of the terrain remained untouched during construction, giving the course a very mature look. Excellent golfing conditions are maintained with the aid of a computer-controlled irrigation system designed to keep the grass to the highest standard.
