“Wolf” golf course gives a unique opportunity to play an exciting and challenging game on a traditional Scottish links type golf course, but inland! Set in the heart of the beautiful Dzūkija region, designed by the greatest Swedish architect Johan Benestam and the best American designer Robert Pedigo, “Wolf” golf course is a perfect middle ground between parkland and links courses. Massive pine forest encloses the course from harsh winds from one side and the other side opens the astonishing horizons of Southern Lithuania for the players. The little river named “Wolf” crosses the course exactly in the middle, and as you can see we have borrowed its name. One has to know that Southern Lithuanian grounds are extremely sandy; therefore, whilst designing the course the architect basically let nature shape his idea of the future “Wolf” golf course. This heathland course combines only the best features of local nature. Sandy fields are surrounded by pine forests and border with “Wolf” Lake Park, offering spectacular views and relaxing time for the golf players.
